I enjoy hearing about the progressive methods individuals come up with to meet a challenge and make the world a better location. That is certainly the scenario in Rjukan, Norway. Thanks to NPR.org for introducing me to Sam Eyde.Rjukan, which is about 70 miles west of Oslo, and boasts about 3,500 people, all of whom would like more sunlight in their city throughout the chilly and dim winter season. 100 years ago Eyde, one of the founders of Rjukan, was influenced by Archimedes
